Many patients wonder about the risks related to sexual activity after total hip arthroplasty (THA), but this issue remains rarely discussed between patients and surgeons. In this video we present a motion capture study published in the Journal of Arthroplasty. The goal of the study was to evaluate relative risk of impingement and joint instability during the practice of 12 common sexual positions.
