38yrs male presented with open fracture dislocation of right knee joint with intercondylar notch fracture with contamination without neurovascular deficits.patient presented in midnight and was taken up at 5am.wound debridement + orif 6.5mm cc screw for lateral condyle and big chunk of posterior intercondylar area was fixed with AP 4mm cc screw + 6holed dflcp.one limb was intact and other was repaired and capsule repaired.patella bone loss was there and remaining two pieces were fixed with 4mm cc screw.quadriceps and patella partial avulsion was repaired.reduction was quite stable ao avoided additional external fixator.never seen such injury in my career and was nightmare .does it fall in any type of classification?
