  Avneet Singh Shishodia i think proximal # should have been opened,reduced, butterfly fragment held with encirlage, then PFN and for distal # distal femur locking plate would have been a better option....in present condition high chances of non-union and failure.

  Ashish Patidar Distally nail length is short and only one screw.now do distal femur lcp mipo to prevent rotation and for stability to prevent nonunion of distal fracture.

  Mavv Prasad Sir the problem is more distal the nail cont knee pain and the distal frac was very stable which i did open prox one was closed red got the fragment opened

  Sanjay Joseph I would perhaps have chosen short pfn +/- cerclage wire. Then mipo for sc fracture with distal femoral locking plate.
