Yogesh Gaikwad As lateral wall is very thin DHS will fail because of lateral wall break. IM nail will be my choice.

Anuj Agrawal I second Yogesh Gaikwad. Have seen breach of lateral wall leading to excessive medialisation in such cases.
Either add a TSP with DHS (my preference), or go for a TFN.

Among patients who underwent total knee arthroplasty (TKA), recent study data indicated intra-articular tranexamic acid significantly reduced total blood loss, drainage, reduction of hemoglobin and the need for transfusion without increasing the incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
